1. The program
The Xplorr partner and referral program has two tiers.
- Referral. Any Xplorr user gets a referral link on the Referrals page of the console. Taking part is approved automatically.
- Partner. Agencies, managed service providers, consultants and resellers apply on xplorr.io/partners. Xplorr reviews each application and may approve or decline it at its discretion.
In these terms, "you" means the user or partner taking part, and a "referred organization" is an Xplorr organization attributed to you under section 3.
2. Commission
You earn a cash commission of 20% of every payment a referred organization makes to Xplorr in the first 12 months after it signs up. For example, the Growth plan is 49 USD per organization per month, so a referred organization on Growth earns about 9.80 USD a month for 12 months.
Commission is calculated on amounts actually paid, excluding taxes such as sales tax, GST or VAT. Unpaid invoices, credits, discounts and refunded amounts earn no commission. A refunded payment reverses the commission earned on it, including after that commission has become payable, in which case it is deducted from your next payout.
3. Attribution
- An organization is attributed to you when it signs up through your referral link within 60 days of clicking it.
- If someone clicks more than one referral link, the last link clicked wins.
- Self referral does not count: an organization you belong to, or a signup using an email address on the same company email domain as yours, is not attributed to you.
- Xplorr's records decide attribution. If you believe a signup was missed, email us within 60 days of the signup.
4. Payment
Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it comes from, to allow for refunds. It then becomes payable.
Xplorr pays payable commission monthly, in US dollars, by PayPal or bank transfer, once at least 50 USD is payable. Smaller balances carry over to the next month. Xplorr never stores bank details: when a payout is due we ask you by email how you want to be paid. You are responsible for any taxes due on the commission you receive, and for any fees your bank or PayPal charges to receive it.
5. Partners
Approved partners earn commission on the same terms as referrals. They can also manage client organizations from one account, with rebilling. Xplorr may list approved partners on its partners page; we will ask before listing you and remove the listing on request.
A partner that manages a client organization is responsible for having the client's permission to do so. The client's use of Xplorr remains governed by the Xplorr Terms of Service.
6. How you may promote Xplorr
- No spam. Send referral links only to people who have agreed to hear from you, and follow the anti spam laws that apply to you.
- No paid search on Xplorr brand terms. Do not bid on "Xplorr" or variations of it, and do not use them in domain names, ad copy or social media handles.
- No misleading claims. Describe Xplorr's features, prices and plans accurately, as published on xplorr.io, and do not present yourself as Xplorr or as speaking for it.
- Do not offer cash back, rebates or other payments to people for signing up through your link unless Xplorr agrees in writing.
7. Fraud and abuse
Commission obtained through fraud, fake or duplicate accounts, self referral, stolen payment methods or a breach of these terms is forfeited, whether or not it has been paid. Xplorr may withhold payouts while it investigates, recover commission already paid, and remove you from the program.
8. Independent parties
You and Xplorr are independent. Taking part does not create an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship, and you may not make commitments on Xplorr's behalf.
9. Changes and ending the program
Xplorr may change or end the program, including the commission rate, with 30 days notice by email or on this page. Commission earned before a change takes effect is paid on the terms that applied when it was earned. You may leave the program at any time; payable commission of at least 50 USD is still paid.
10. Terms of Service and contact
Your use of Xplorr is also governed by the Xplorr Terms of Service, which apply to these terms, including their limitation of liability and governing law. Where the two conflict on the program, these terms apply.
