How commission works
- Step 1
Share your link
Someone clicks it and signs up within 60 days. If they click more than one referral link, the last one clicked wins.
- Step 2
They pay
You earn 20% of every payment their organization makes in its first 12 months, on the amount actually paid, excluding tax.
- Step 3
30 day hold
Each commission is held for 30 days in case the payment is refunded. A refunded payment reverses its commission.
- Step 4
You get paid
Payable commission is paid monthly in USD by PayPal or bank transfer once at least 50 USD is payable.
Self referrals do not count. Full rules are in the program terms.
Questions
How much is one referral worth?+
The Growth plan is 49 USD per organization per month, so one referred organization on Growth earns you about 9.80 USD a month for its first 12 months, about 117.60 USD in total. Commission is 20% of what the organization actually pays, excluding tax, so a different plan or amount changes the figure.
What is the difference between a referral and a partner?+
Both earn the same commission. Any Xplorr user can refer with the link in the console, and it is approved automatically. Partners are agencies, MSPs, consultants and resellers that we have reviewed and approved. Partners can also manage their clients' organizations from one account, with rebilling.
How is a signup attributed to me?+
The organization has to sign up through your link within 60 days of clicking it. If someone clicks several referral links, the last link clicked gets the referral.
Can I refer my own organization or company?+
No. A signup from your own organization, or from an email address on your company's email domain, does not count as a referral.
When and how am I paid?+
Each commission is held for 30 days in case the payment is refunded, then it becomes payable. We pay monthly in USD, by PayPal or bank transfer, once at least 50 USD is payable.
Where do I enter my bank details?+
You do not. Xplorr never stores bank details. When a payout is due we ask you by email how you want to be paid.
What happens if a referred organization gets a refund?+
A refunded payment reverses the commission earned on it. The 30 day hold is there so that most refunds happen before a commission is paid.
